MEDIABUS project will enhance the Villae sites: Villa Adriana, Villa d’Este, Temple of Ercole Vincitore.
As part of the MEDIABUS project, we want to develop a new sustainable and replicable economic model for promoting the area based on a mix of multimedia use technologies consisting of:
-
A “SHUTTLE” Multimedia VAN for connecting Villae sites (Villa Adriana, Temple of Ercole Vincitore, Villa d’Este) and the experimentation of a connection between Rome and the Villae sites;
-
A “RELOCABLE” Multimedia VAN for multimedia study of specific monuments, which can be relocated in accordance with the indications of the Museum Management.
-
An infrastructure of use based on TABLET / SMARTPHONE equipped with an APP with outdoor tracking of thematic routes.
Through the infrastructures of the MEDIABUS project it will be possible to implement and standardize a new way of doing tourism and getting to know the riches of our cultural heritage; with MEDIABUS the traveler can be informed during the journey that will lead to the cultural site, of the history, traditions and cultural aspects of the sites he will visit, anticipating the “physical” visit in a multimedia way. A dedicated set-up will allow elderly and physically disabled tourists to reach cultural and archaeological sites safely and at the same time to be able to make a multimedia visit of the cultural site.
